Lakeshore East Condo
This Lakeshore East landing pad is bursting with culture, showcasing the blended family’s rich personality and style. Longtime friends of NMI, we partnered together on what began as a simple furnishing project to a full gut renovation. The vision being to create a space that feels light and airy, while still bursting with color. We worked with a limited architectural palette to allow the furnishings and art to really shine. We also paid close attention to the architectural materials present in the stunning city views and used variations of those materials and colors in our architectural finishes. The kitchen, for instance, consists of matte lacquer and a hand-trowel stone finish meant to mimic the limestone facades of many of the buildings outside. The Ocean Blue Quartzite used on the kitchen counters and backsplash reflects the various shades of grey, blue, and green that you so often see in Lake Michigan.
