Old Town Vintage Single Family
The layout and aesthetic of this home was stuck in a 90s timewarp that was not meeting its family’s needs or wants. NMI completely reworked the interior architecture of both the kitchen and bathroom — we removed walls, changed window configurations and added architectural beams with light details in the bath to optimize layout. We used the steel-looking matte stained lacquer on the cabinets as a throughline throughout the home and played with the contrast between white oak cabinets against driftwood-colored oak floors in the kitchen for a clean, bright, yet masculine feel.
