Ukrainian Village Condo

Welcome to my personal sanctuary. Finding a spacious, well-proportioned condo in Chicago that offers both ample functionality and expansive blank walls for art is no small feat. After a two-year search, I finally discovered the perfect space—one that allowed me to craft a thoughtfully divided live/work environment, a generous common area for hosting and a design that embodies my passion for art while prioritizing relaxation, connection and effortless entertaining. As an avid art collector with over 90 pieces acquired over three decades, I sought a home that celebrated the individuality of each work while embodying my distinct eclectic contemporary and modern perspective. Equally important was designing a modern, chef-inspired kitchen to anchor the space. By reorienting the kitchen layout, I was able to incorporate a fully functional prep-pantry, a striking Scavolini kitchen with Miele and Fisher & Paykel appliances, and a centerpiece Red Rosso Levanto Marble island illuminated by my all-time favorite Roll & Hill pendant lights. The interiors are a rich tapestry of layered art, sculptures, antique mid-century upholstery, contemporary furniture and an array of luxurious textiles and rugs. Hosting clients in this space is one of my greatest joys—there’s no higher compliment than their immediate connection to the calming, curated atmosphere of my home and office. It’s a testament to the power of design to inspire and create meaningful experiences.
